Meritrust Credit Union is still pushing for their competitive short term and long term interest rates for their certificate of deposit. The credit union has the following current CD rates:

3 months 0.50% APY
6 months 0.70% APY
1 year 1.25% APY
18 months 1.35% APY
2 years 1.75% APY
3 years 2.25% APY
5 years 3.00% APY

You can start earning this top CD rates when you deposit a minimum of $500 to open an account. If you decide to withdraw some money out of your account before the maturity date, you will have to pay for the early withdrawal fee. The earnings of this money in the bank deal is compounded and paid on to your account on a monthly basis.

Membership with Meritrust Credit Union are individual who live, worship, or work in the counties of Pottawatomie, Riley, Geary, Dickinson, Saline, McPherson, Marion, Chase, Morris, Lyon, Osage, Douglas, Harvey, Sedgwick, Butler, Sumner, and Cowley in the state of Kansas. You may also visit the credit union’s website to check for the list of select employee groups for eligibility. Relatives of members are also eligible to join.
